Modifying parameters in compiled Simulink model on Raspberry Pi

Hi,

I would like to modify the value of a parameter (e.g. a constant) in my Simulink model while deployed on the target hardware, in my case a Raspberry Pi.

I assume I would need to get hold of the memory address of the specific parameter and then modify it by means of say Python or C. Is there a way to do this?

Hi Soeren,

Have you tried "Monitor & Tune workflow" (a.k.a External mode) with Raspberry Pi support package.

Simulink's External mode feature enables you to accelerate the process of parameter tuning by letting you change certain parameter values while the model is running on target hardware, without stopping the model.

Hi Prasanth,

Thank you for your answer. I am familiar with External Mode. However, it's not quite what I'm looking for. I would like to deploy my model on a Raspberry Pi and then modify and/or observe certain parameters in the model without the use of Simulink. In some ways the same as External Mode but wihtout the need for Simulink. I imagine gaining access to paramters via e.g. Python by means of their individual memory addres.
