Define output of a callback function

Is there any way to define the output variables of callback function in order to pass the variable to base workspace?

I strongly suggest not to do this. Writing variables to the base workspace will lead to confusions and impedes the debugging dramatically.

It is much better to store values in the GUI's UserData or application data (see "help setappdata" and "help guidata") and get them by a dedicated funtion from the GUI on demand.
