Kvaser hardware and vehicle network toolbox

I have installed the dirver for the Kvaser hardwares,then I connect the Kvaser hardware to my laptop,input the command"canHWInfo"in matlab command areas,I also see the Kvaser hardware info lists.But when I distribute the Kvaser hardware channel then comes the error"The channel Kvaser 1(Channel 1)is currently inaccessible and may be use outside of Simulink,Please close other existing connextions and retry this channel"

Hi ,

There are a couple of things that might be happening -

1.Do you have any other program that is accessing the hardware (eg. Kvaser hardware configuration ) ?If so please close the program.

2.Some times it might happen that the driver installation might run in to an issue. Consider re installing the driver.

3.Check if restarting the machine helps as sometimes some process might be holing on to the hardware and not allowing Simulink to access the hardware
