Can I call a Matlab function from the workspace in Stateflow?

It does not give compilation error, but seems the function is not really excuted.

I am using 2020a.

You can call MATLAB functions from the actions of any state or transition or from other functions. For more information, see https://www.mathworks.com/help/stateflow/ug/matlab-functions-in-a-chart.html.
