how to scatter plot image patches in 3d plot

I have 5 images, each image is devided in 36 patches, each patch has a size 10*10. I want to plot each patch as a dot in the 3D plot, so that I get 36 dots in the scatter plot for one image and 5*36 dots for 5
I can plot vectors in the scatter plot but this time it is matrix which has to show as a dot.
