identify similar and new dots from two binary images

I have two binary images. Image 1 and image 2 with numerous signal dots. both images belong to the same scene but they were taken at different time frames and thus the number of dots are different.

I want to identify the same dots between image 1 and image 2 and new dots formed in image 2. Same dots have the same pixel position in both the images.

I am attaching the images here.

What will be the ´best way to do this computation?

How is this different than the discussion we were having in http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/139346-compare-dots-in-two-binary-images??? Why did you not just edit that one , and posted again?
