Creating Simulink Code for Distribution ?

I have created a parametrized simulink model which we would like to code into a graphical user interface for general use within our department.

Can I code my model to a mex file or equivalent which can be then called from a matlab script and compiled into an executable using mcr?

If you could point me in the right direction I would appreciate the help.
