Can I run a simulink model on mindstorm ev3 using bluetooth and not using a network connection?

I want to run a simulink model on mindstorm ev3 but it seems first you need its´´ IP adresse ( Congiguration parameters - ev3 Networking). I use the Ethernet dongles that I have but it seems the only one that works with ev3 is the (NETGEAR N150 Wireless Adapter (WNA1100) ), and i don´t want to buy it if I can run the simulink model using bluetooth. So is it possible or I have to buy it?
