matlab plots axis scaling

Hi,
How can I get the output plots from MATLAB to include more values in axes. For example, the range of the axis is -500 to 500 but the axis has labels only for -500,0 and 500. How can more precise scaling be present?

See the documentation on Axis Properties, get, and set. Experiment with the Axis Properties that look like they will do what you want.
