Display background image on gui

I have created an image in paint which contains background image and few text lines. and i have displayed it on the gui(sub-gui). if i run the gui independently the image is appearing. but if i run it from the main gui i get only the blank grey screen. How do i fix this?

Can i display the image on static text? if so how can i do this?
