about SNR sand PSNR calculation

Hi.
I have a reference image(capsule endoscopy) which has Gaussian noise. I want to filter this image to make it noisefree and finally want to calculate its SNR and PSNR.How to resolve this problem. Thanx in advance.

Is this applicable for color images too??
