how to make a shortcut in start for any gui to be launched.

when we create a gui with some buttons ; firstly we have to click on play button to launch the respective gui then click on the buttons ; but i want to create a shortcut on shortcuts toolbar which directly perform the same function as done by the button.

If you're in Windows, right click on the m-file icon in Windows explorer and say "Create shortcut". It will create an icon for the shortcut in the same folder. You can rename it if you want. Then drag and drop the shortcut icon onto the start ball (Windows 7).
