SimBiology Diagram & Repeated Assignment Rules

I have a SimBiology model that is 50% ODEs, and 50% Repeated Assignment Rules (i.e. functional relationships). Aside from differentiating them all wrt to time, is there anyway to include variables/parameters that are defined by repeated assignment in the SimBiology diagram?

As of the current release (R2013b), SimBiology diagrams only shows species, compartments, and reactions. As you suggest, the only way I can think of to work around this limitation would be to reimplement these repeated assignment rules as reactions, which would require differentiating the rule and converting the parameter to a species.
