how to read ALL wave file

Hi All, I'm tring to get all the information inside a wave file, and I'm using wavread() for this issue, when I use this function I can retrive Fs, Nbits and a struct at the end of file whit some information, but I'm sure I have the last (10/12) lines with other information like dinamic range of the Audio device and some scaling fatctor I have to use for analyse the data. I'm sure I heve this information inside the file because if I open it with a normal wordpad I can read the last lines in text format. So my question is could be possible to have this information into my workspace in order to create a m-file where I can get all the values? Thanks in advance Franco
