Hi When i write a script to produce array of 7E6 i am getting out of memory error

How much physical memory do you have? How much is in use already at the time you try to create the array? If you are using MS Windows, what does the MATLAB command
memory
show you at the point just before you try to create the array?
Are you using 32 bit MATLAB or 64 bit MATLAB? Which operating system? Which MATLAB version?
