Simpson's 3/8 rule is another method for numerical integration proposed by Thomas Simpson. It is based upon a cubic interpolation rather than a quadratic interpolation. Simpson's 3/8 rule is as follows:

Example:

Enter lower limit a: 1
Enter upper limit b: 2
Enter the number of sub-intervals n: 21

The value of integration is 0.381665>>
