Positions centroid of a triangulated volume to a reference cartesian coordinate

The vol2midp MATLAB function adjusts the coordinates of a triangulated volume to align with a specified reference origin. It takes the median coordinates of the volume (medx, medy, medz) and the reference coordinates (refx, refy, refz) as inputs. The function calculates the differences between these coordinates and adjusts the volume's coordinates accordingly to align with the reference origin. The adjusted coordinates are returned as new_coords_x, new_coords_y, and new_coords_z. A helper function, adjustCoordinate, is used to streamline the adjustment process for each coordinate dimension. This function is particularly useful in medical imaging or geometric transformations where precise alignment of volumetric data is required.
