Circle detection from Irregular arcs.

Hi, I need to detect circles (crater mouths) from the following image at http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/268/moonps.jpg/ The partial arcs are crater mouths. IS there any way to detect the circles and find its radius in MATLAB?

I would be very obliged for the help.

This looks quite difficult, because the circles are not very circular. You could try the various Hough transforms for circles that are available on the file exchange though.
