I have two figures where I created with
figure()
set(gcf,'units', 'normalized','position',[0.1869 0.0322 0.6875 0.8667],'paperunits','normalized','PaperPositionMode','auto')
and/or with
figure()
set(gcf, 'position', [300 30 1100 780]);
and/or with
figure()
set(gcf,'units', 'inches','position',[3.1150 0.3019 11.4583 8.1253],'paperunits','normalized','PaperPositionMode','auto');
When plotted, they have the same window dimensions on the screen, however, when I copy and paste them on Powerpoint they have diferent dimensions.
1) 5.94x8.36" at 100% -->dimensions when I manually use a plastic ruler on the screen
2) 7.5x10.58" at 92% --> at 100% = dimensions in inches from the line above
I used edit-> copy figure in Matlab and ctrl+v on PPT. Also I have the "Match figure screen size" checked.
I am using R2017a with windows 8.1 and PPT 2013.

They both have the same properties:
