i've a gui with 3 panels andd in each panel there are various buttons and edit box etc. i want when i work on first panel ,the rest two sholud be hidden. how this could be done?

the description is as follows:

i've three panels namely

1. image selection

2. block description

3. similarity measure

these three panels are linked to each other. i.e if the image selection is not done , we cannot go to the block description and so on...

i want that when i m working on the panel IMAGE SELECTION the rest two panels i.e. BLOCK DESCRIPTION and SIMILARITY MEASURE should be hide and when i m working on BLOCK DESCRIPTION the rest two IMAGE SELECTION and SIMILARITY MEASURE should be hidden and so on.....

plz anyone help me in doing so????
