how can i calculate mean period

hi, i have an ecg time series and i want to calculate the mean period in matlab code wahat is the appropriate function to use.sampling frequency =200hz;

first thank you for your reply ecg time seies is taked from MIT-BIH data base, and i the mean period in calultation of the largest lyapunov exponent.
