Hello everybody,
I have problem while streaming live video via network. I tried the following advices: http://www.mathworks.com/support/solutions/en/data/1-BBLJPT/?solution=1-BBLJPT
It working pretty well, but sending is working only with already recorded data(AVI's). But if I use VLC or Microsoft Expression Encoder to stream the live video instead, I see a big delay in the video at the receiving PC, a delay of approx 10sec. That's to much for my application(and this is not because of my network topology, it's because of pre-buffuring data before sending, I guess). So I thought about solving the problem, by acquiring the data with the Image acquisition toolbox and sending the buffers immediately after grabbing, without buffering.
But I have no clue how I can use the buffer with the acquired data as a source for the Video and Image Processing Blockset. Would somebody like to tell me, how I can do this, please? I mean it shouldn't be a big deal, because while reading an AVI as well as acquiring live video there is a point where the image is existent in the memory in the exact same manner.
looking forward to get some help. Best GRegor
