How to know clearly about the xPC Target system?

My name's Sophea. I come from NPIC Cambodia, the country of Khmer empire. I just interested on the xPC Target System. In the first I just want to know how the XPC target system is worked and what are equipment that we're need to support into the systems? Second, what're the reference for me to get more information of it, any site or document? What're the advantages of xPC target system? Thank for your feedback:)
