Are MATLAB tech support fees charged per toolbox?

I'm wondering if my yearly renewals and tech support fees for my MATLAB license will get more expensive if I buy more toolboxes. I can't find any info about this on TMW's pricing info and license info pages.

This will probably not answer your exact question but to my understanding, technical support is provided as long as you have SMS (subscription maintenance service), which in addition to support also allows you to upgrade to the latest release or download any release.

What I am not sure is if SMS price changes with number of toolboxes you have (which I guess is your question) and the best way to find out I guess is to call your accounts manager or contact sales you would have the answer right away.

Yes. The price of SMS increases for each toolbox. Some of the less expensive toolboxes all have the same SMS price, but for the others, the price is approximately 20% of the purchase price, per year.
