Sample rate in serial analog input with Arduino Duemilanove

Hi everyone !

After managing to detect my Arduino Duemilanove (atmega168) on Matlab, and by using the ArduinoIO library, I tried to read the Analog Input of one pin.

But the sample rate seems to be very low (about 60 Hz), and I didn't find any explanation about it ?

Do you have any idea ?

I use the aiosrv.pde code and Matlab R2011a.

I read that arduino duemilanove is not supported by matlab. Can you explain how to connect the arduino duemilanove to matlab for receiving inputs?
