intillation question, no 64 bit option?

Hello,
I have installed matlab 32-bit version on my 64 bit computer because the only options available to install was for windows 32 bit. Is that a big deal? Will it present any problems?
Thanks

There is no problem, but some functionality the requires a 32 bits OS will not work, like Real Time Windows Target in external mode. Sometimes you need to have a 32 bit OS. You can install on your PC (two OS 32 and 64 ).

What do you need to do with your MATLAB? Most people will not need to run it on a 32 bit operating system.

That depends on how you are using Matlab, and the toolbox you need to use. especially when you have to connect your pc to interface card (hardware). Also when you install a 64 bit version, you need to install ms visual c++ to be able to use a Matlab compiler.
You said that you've already installed a 32 bit version

I see. I will be using matlab for the class I am taking titled Engineering Mathematics 3, MATH 353 at University of Delaware. So, I don't know exactly what I will need the software for, except for that I will need it for the class i am taking.
