I have an optical microscopic image of micron sized particles. Particles are near to oval in shape but with lots of irregularity in shape and size. Sample image is attached here. Suggest me about how to find the precise centroid location and area of each particle in the image. I also need to find the orientation angle of each particle with respect to horizontal axis.

I suggest you use the help of different Morphological Operations to do this kind of image analysis.
Do go through the examples for getting familiar with each of the functions. For example, this example will help you with estimating areas of the particles.
