I'm developing an app with AppDesigner. This app has to validate user input and give feedback to the user upon invalid input. For this purpose, I use uialert() function, and that part works pretty well.
I test the app with App Testing Framework, and I would like to test against uialert() existence and displayed text. The problem is that uialert does not return handler, and I cannot found any way to call this object.
Can you please recommend a way to achieve this goal?

I don't think it's possible to get handle of uialert function (I tried doing it briefly, but without succeeding), you should try doing this with inputdlg.

I agree, that this can be a solution, actually so far I see the only option.
Based on documentation, uialert should be used instead of inputdlg. So I'm a little bit confused with this.

From R2021a, matlab app testing framework supports dismissing uialert dialogs boxes- doc available. Hopefully you find this feature helpful.
