Matlab Connector conflict issues

I have a large data file (1.8GB) which i wanted to work on using matlab online. The problem arises with the drive connector making multiple copies of this file (conflict copies). To circumvent this i uploaded the file separately to the drive ( now my offline matlab drive directory is identical to the one online), but when i start the connector it renames the offline file as a conflict copy and starts to upload that too. How do i tell the connector that both the online and offline files are same and there is no conflict.
