how to load a picture in Matlab? can a video is uploaded in Matlab ?

i've interface webcam with Matlab but i dont know how to save it in matlab directory ,i've used getsnapshot() command but dont know where the images r saved and from where i get them back for further use..kindly help me and plz tell me the code or command if any? thanks in advance.

getsnapshot() brings them into memory and does not save them to disk. You might want to imwrite() the images.
