how to obtain text features by deep learning?

I have created text data base where in which i have collected some images which are captioned and some are text files which I have created by pasting wikipedia data on notepad... and i tried to extract labels or text from images and textfiles but iam unable to extract text features... kindly help me how to apply deep learning to extract features from text files...
