Issue. Cannot control power supply with VISA

All,

I am having difficulty controlling my power supply(BK Precision 9184b) remotley with MATLAB, using VISA. However I have no issue connecting to, and controlling the supply with Python(3.7), using the VISA module.

The issue is that I cannot read/write to the device while using MATLAB.

I am using Instrument Control Toolbox to connect to the PS.

It appears ICT identifies the device, however I have no success when querying *IDN?

I have no issue pinging the device.

Does anyone have any idea of what I should try? Again, remote control works well using Python(3.7) with the VISA module.

I can provide more info as needed.
