Overlaying Subplots

Hi everyone,

I am a MATLAB rookie and need some assistance in overlaying two subplots. Is there a certain command that allows me to do this? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have a question I call subplot and plot inside a function(myPlot). I have 'hold on' command before my plot command. Every time I call myPlot, it replaces the previous plot. I don't know how I can hold it. Any Idea? Note that I have hold on.
