Programming Languages recognized by MATLAB.

Hi all,

I want to write an algorithm and run it on the MATLAB script IDE.

Would it recognize and run the program written in Javascript language?

The MATLAB editor is able to edit various kinds of files, but it is only able to execute MATLAB code.

It is able to do syntax highlighting for a few different kinds of files. I am having difficulty figuring out which files it knows.
