How do I prove a continuous hidden markov model?

Basically my requirement is that i start with a transmission matrix and an emission matrix(consisting of mean,sigma and mixture proportions) and generate a sequence using these matrices. Then I need to train the sequence obtained with a continuous hmm model to get a transmission matrix and emission matrix. The matrices obtained should be same as the ones I started with.
Kindly help

hi i am working in speech recognition using hmm and i need to know what is the step to build hmm andhow to train hmm in matlab7.9 ??????? i found in matlab hmmestimat,i have seq but i dont know what is the states? my Q is if i need to generat the states by my self????or this is wrong plz answer my question............
plz help me .....................
