Problem with Creating worldmap and using mouse to maximise or minimise and click to get latitude and longitude points

I am using matlab app designer. It is taking quite a lot of time to open a map in a new figure using the command

worlddatamap('World');

I have tried using axes in one of the tabs and plotting the while opening the app itself. Still it takes lot of time. However, I am not able to select the location by mouse click when i use an axes to plot the world map.

I would like to know if there is any way i could click and get the location and at the same time minimise and maximise when using an axes in the app designer.

I would also like to know if there is any way to speed up the plotting of map in the appdesigner.

I forgot to mention that I have used the worldatamap function available on fileexchange.
