Finding object boundary given the centroid point

Hi all,

I am currently working on cell segmentation problem. I would like to segment out cells of ring like shape with black hole like nuclei in the enter. In this image, I have successfully calculated the centroid point and bondary of each nuclei(seed point). Using that how can I get the outer boundary of cell?

Is there any Matlb function that can help me on this?
