difference between buttondownfcn and keypressfcn

I know that using the keypressfcn as a property in a figure works, but where do I set the buttondownfcn in case I have a couple of buttons?
I can't set it in the main figure becuase it won't be able to recognize which one.
so how should it be done?

Buttondownfcn is for the mouse button.
