Matlab crashes when sharing screen

I'm a grad student teaching a intro to programming class and when I share my screen to demonstrate something (using Crestron AirMedia on a MacBook Pro) Matlab crashes, then will not re-open until AirMedia is turned off. Is this a liscense issue (I'm using a student version of matlab rather than an instructor version) or is it a Mac specific bug (another instructor can use AirMedia on his Windows laptop).

Hi,

MATLAB might crash sometimes on Mac if a screen-level event occurs.
