Tricky UITable question implementation

Just curious if anyone has ever tried to create a non uniform UI table. What I'm trying to achieve is essentially a triangle of data where the user only fills in values above the diagonal of a uniform table. (e.g. a 6x6 table where cells below the diagonal are blank and above the diagonal has data).

This is purely for display purposes as I realize I can have a uniform table and direct the user to only fill in certain cells. Just wondering if anyone has ever had success doing something like that.

You could create a whole bunch of edit boxes stacked in that shape...
