Live Editor - Font and Background Color

Hi There,
I would like to know if there is a way to change the default font for Text and Code as well as the background color of the Live Editor?
Cheers,
Benny

So many years has passed but this simple feature is ignored.

I fully agree. It would be very helpful to highlight specific parts of the text and/or the code

Alternatively, a work around is to use Windows Magnifier to invert the whole display color while you're coding in LiveScript, instructions at https://www.businessinsider.com/how-to-invert-colors-on-windows

As of R2022a, you can now configure live editor's background and foreground colors. See more info: https://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/release-notes.html

Hi,
Unfortunately, Matlab Live Scripts do not currently support customisation of colour schemes.

Look forward to see "word" style capabilities be added. Then Engineers will be using livescript rather word?

Please add this feature urgently - you truly have no idea how awful it is having a glaring white box in the middle of a dark scheme desktop. I refuse to believe that all the programmers in the matlab team use a light theme for their coding...

Please add text color in Matlab and please throw mathcad out of the market with your live code. Its way better than Mathcad. :) I would love to see matlab in civil/structural industry - its high time to move out of the college level :)

I cannot agree more with the other users above ! Of course I use the Dark theme for my Matlab IDE, especially having to stare at the computer screen for hours in this remote work environment. All the beautiful color schemes I have chosen with the black background stares at me harshly (!!) in the white background of Live Editor. It's already middle of December '20 and no change from Sep'20 post above. Please do the needful Mathworks !

I agree. A major purpose of live-scripts is to make the content easier to read. This is a step backward. Please let me modify the color scheme in live-scripts, and make it a priority.

It is seriously driving me away from even using live-scripts. I have to modify my colors so that I don't have bright green and yellow text on a white background. It hurts my eyes too much. Please fix this I can't see how it could be a major modification to extend the methods that allow the normal editor to be modified to support the live-script editor. Maybe the continous refresh? I will gladly take the performance impact over the blinding visual appeal any day.
It would be awesome if this was implemented!

To all the people posting here - submit a feature request! That is how you can get this implemented. The link is here:
