converting matlab image to jpg image

help me out, i converted one image into some form using matlab, but i want to save that image in '.jpg' form, because i need to read image for further processing..

You could use the GUI or
doc saveas
saveas(h,'filename.jpg')
href = ""<http://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/ref/saveas.html</a>>
or use
imwrite
http://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/ref/imwrite.html
