how to know in which dimension system we are working(si/cgs)?

can anyone suggest me how to change dimensions in matlab?
or how to see under which dimension we are working?

In MATLAB itself you are not working in dimensions. The symbolic toolbox does give you the ability to add dimensions in some situations.
Several Simscape based toolboxes are careful to always work in dimensions. Simbiology for example.

You use reference material to find out the units that correspond to the constants that you are entering. You might have some difficulty finding appropriate rreferences if somehow you managed to copy a value for g that was given in furlongs per fortnight per jiffy.
To Re-emphasize: the pde toolbox makes no attempt to keep track of units. It simply takes whatever numbers you entered, and it is up to you to feed in numbers that are consistent for your purposes.
