Create a line of particular length and orientation

I found a code which creates line in arbitrary space and e verywhere,I couldn't control it's position as randi is used.

Let's say I want the line in 45 degree and at my desired x,y mostly at centre (25,25)?how to do it ?

I don't understand. What do you mean by 'edge'? Some boudaries of a line?

Ah ! sorry due to auto translation to Deutsch it showed as edge instead of rand :)

Also,I use the inputs from the above mentioned code for gettig the below scattering point to be added later for image processing;

S=.1*floor(10*[x_d-Nd*x_res:x_res:x_d+Nd*x_res;y_d-Nd*x_res:x_res:y_d+Nd*x_res]);

so how can I get these from

x = [0 5]+rand+25;

y = [0 5]+rand+25;

plot(x,y)

You have something like this

S=.1*floor(10*[x_d-Nd*x_res:x_res:x_d+Nd*x_res;y_d-Nd*x_res:x_res:y_d+Nd*x_res]);

You want this line starts at [25,25]

S = [S(1,:)-S(1,1); S(2,:)-S(2,1)]+25;

gives me some double values ( splitting of the 25,25 line) and I use it for combnk function.

but

S = [S(1,:)-S(1,1); S(2,:)-S(2,1)]+25; will it give me some double which is nothing but splitting the line into 10 points of x,y coords
