Desperate! Please help with compiling: fl:filesys​tem:Access​Denied on my Moving Average block.

Hi everyone,

Someone sent me a Simulink project to work on. I am using a Mac and received this error when I tried to run the file on my computer.

An error occurred in the block 'shifter_system_sim/Moving Average' during compile.

Caused by:

• Failed to create folder /Users/slprj/_cgxe/shifter_system_sim due to the error: fl:filesystem:AccessDenied

Component:Simulink | Category:Block error

I know that it is just with the Moving Average block because if I comment through it, the error goes away. I'm desperate for help.

Try

cd ~

Before opening the model. It appears that you are cd /Users instead of your home directory or something below it.

Where do i type "cd ~"? I'm very new so I may need a bit extra guidance if possible :)
