Configuration Set error while settings are correct

I have installed the Cortex-M hardware support package and now I want to generate code with the CMSIS code replacement package. I have set the device vendor to 'ARM Compatible' and the device type to 'ARM Cortex', but the compiler still complains about these settings allegedly being wrong. How can I avoid this?

The error apparently talks about the 'Test hardware' in the hidden menu underneath, it also has a Device Vendor and Device Type settings. The error message is misleading in my opinion.
