Do you mean create code for your project or troubleshoot your existing code?

From my own personal experience, here are some resources for getting help and learning MATLAB concepts:
  1. MATLAB documentation (in-product documentation as well) - There are so many examples, tutorials, and explanations for various concepts. I learned about 70% of everything I know about MATLAB from the documentation.
  2. MATLAB Newsgroup (CSSM) - Back when I started learning, there was no MATLAB Answers, so this was my other main source of learning.
  3. File Exchange - I learn quite a bit from seeing other people write MATLAB code. The File Exchange is a great repository of MATLAB programs written by other people. Beware that there are great ones and bad ones.
  4. Blogs - I get some very useful information from these blogs. There are a number of non-MathWorks blogs as well.
  5. MATLAB Answers - No explanation necessary.
  6. Interactive Tutorials - These are relatively new (within the last couple of years), and very useful for new users. They are interactive, free, and great for getting you started.
  7. Technical notes/How-to Guides - These give you in-depth knowledge on specific niche topics.
The resources above was more than sufficient for me to get to where I am today. But as Matt mentioned, there are paid services as well. Note that paying could mean learning. For example, MathWorks Training and Consulting is designed so that you come out knowing the skills to keep doing your work. It's probably the most efficient way of learning. I'm sure there are non-MathWorks services as well.

Thanks very much.. Thats what I was looking for to find out all the MATLAB services. Is the training and Consulting like a private tutor or is it online paid help?

If you go to the link I included in my text, you'll get more information, but there are different types. There are public trainings held throughout the year in various locations, as well as on-site trainings for your organization if there's enough people. There's also eLearning where you can do it online. If interested, I recommend checking out the web page:

If you aren't getting sufficient help online or from the doc and you don't have a friend or coworker, I can only imagine that you will have to pay somebody do do your project for you.

No, I like to learn MATLAB to help me do my work but paying somebody is not learning. I just meant to ask about MATLAB services but if it is this the only service available for MATLAB users then thats fine !
