how to use the standalone executable generated using matlab coder

i have generated a exe file in matlab 2018b but i want to run it in matlab 2018a. I have downloaded MCR of 2018b. but i am finding difficuilty in using it.
Can anyone guide me

Did you generate an exe file by using Application Compiler or MATLAB Coder?
