I have an ode equation
My aim is to analyse parameter estimation (in this case μ) . I came up
with an equation :
where and for the first and second
equation. My problem is the number of equations and the number of unknowns are not equal.
to solve the above equations. I need your idea.

Why do you think the number of unknowns and the number of equations do not match ? You have 4 equations in 4 unknowns. (Of course, you have to solve the sensitivity equations together with the underlying equations for y1 and y2).

@Torsten I dont get it when you said 4 equations. From the first ODE equations, I can solve for y1 and y2. But I couldnt able to do it together with the sensitivity equations.

The four equations you list in your question form a set of four differential equations to solve for y1, y2, S1 and S2. What's the problem ?

Aha, I was thinking separately. You are right, I could have mixed the two sets of equations. Thanks a lot!!
