how to access population matrix generated by genetic algo??..

can someone plz tell how can I have access on population matrix generated by Genetic algorithm??

I am working in MATLAB 2012a

and using function ga();

ALL population options have been set by gaoptimset();

but now there is need to access the initial population matrix as I have to use it in some other .m file

How can I do that??..

You have to define this:

options = gaoptimset ('PopulationType','custom','PopInitRange',[1;Range]);

Them you have to create the initial population by modeling your problem. 'custom' can be a .m file.
